I intend to keep this site running indefinitely. At the very least, all the photos that we've already uploaded (thousands of them) will be available. I believe we have a much more reliable web hosting company this time and I'll make backups as often as possible.

I've upgraded the website and there are a lot more features now. I really think it's worth maintaining and promoting once again.

I guess there's never any guarantee but I'm using a much bigger and more established hosting site this time. That said, I still need to do regular backups and if this ever happens again I'll be able to restore the site and all the photos immediately.

Wonderful news! I had been thinking lately where I should be storing my digital pics. Going forward, do we have any reassurance that the hosting site for our photos won't go AWOL on us again?

Thanks for the comment. I have actually considered running my own server for a long time now. I guess I'm just too paranoid about security and not confident enough in my abilities to keep the server safe.

I too thought what happens when this day will come.

Anyway, we can obviously reconstruct the photos section and thanks for the back up. We just need to review what are missing.

My question is regarding the email address as I can no longer access the mail system. Is there a way of accessing this or we will now phase out this email address? Thanks.
